Bob Arnold Electronic Audio Lab — three decades on the road, then a second life behind the keyboard.
BAEAL — Bob Arnold Electronic Audio Lab, pronounced "Bail" — is the culmination of a musical journey that began with a passion for rhythm at the age of twelve.
At fourteen, Bob earned a position in his school's ROTC Drum and Bugle Band, where he developed the discipline and musicianship that would become the foundation of his creative life. In 1976 he purchased a Pearl President drum set and immersed himself in learning the craft — lessons, a high school band, then a swing band and an R&B/funk band.
As family responsibilities grew and a demanding career took hold, music gradually gave way to life on the road. For more than thirty-five years, Bob traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada, building a successful career while his passion for music remained quietly in the background.
The turning point came unexpectedly — a keyboard purchase that happened to include Digital Audio Workstation software. Fascinated by the possibilities of modern music production, he dove headfirst into recording, mixing, mastering, and music production. Along the way he connected with mentors and collaborators, including producer Nate Sawyer of Sleeptown Studio, whose guidance helped BAEAL bring his first album to life.
That debut release, The Future Is Here, marked the beginning of a new chapter. Its standout track, Dystopian, gained significant attention from playlist curators and introduced listeners to BAEAL's unique blend of electronic production, thoughtful themes, and cinematic soundscapes.
Since then, BAEAL has released ten singles, including his latest release in February 2026, while continuing to expand his creative vision. Today, multiple new projects are in development, each reflecting the experience, perseverance, and passion that define his artistic journey.
BAEAL stands as proof that creativity has no expiration date. After decades away from music, Bob Arnold returned not only to rediscover his passion but to build an entirely new artistic identity. Through BAEAL, he continues to explore the intersection of technology, imagination, and human experience—one song at a time.
Immersed in isolation and dark electronic pop flavors, unveiling a haunting tale of intense, raw emotions.
